These individually wrapped liquorice toffees need no explanation, but we’ll give you one any way. They are toffees, and they are liquorice flavour.Oh, and they are fairly traditional too.

Also known as Choc Nib, this is definately a sweet of the 80s, and a firm favourite for anyone between the age of 18 and 30. Anyone older is unlikely to heard of it but we recommend you give it a try.

vegetarian sweets icon Grays Tea Cakes
These are really old fashioned sweets made by Grays of Dudley, who have been making sweets for Britain since 1826. They’ve had plenty of time to develop the perfect sweet, and here it is. Grays teacakes are not to be confused with the toasted variety; these are the flat, brown, toffee like hard chewy sweets with a subtle coconut flavour. Delicious.
